Africa-Press – Angola. More than 200 students from Lyceum no 250 “11 de Novembro”, in Luena, are exhibiting innovative business ideas, at an entrepreneurship fair promoted by the management of the largest school of that level in Moxico.
At the event, which is in its sixth edition, various food products, clothing and footwear are on display , and takes place under the motto
“Promote entrepreneurial behavior in students, towards
financial independence”.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the acting provincial director of Education
, Arlete Vieira, said that the fair aims to create and awaken
entrepreneurship actions in students, given the need to reproduce such ideas in the family.
Arlete Vieira stated that it is imperative to awaken in students activities that stimulate and
generate values, as well as creative capacity for risk management,
resilience and determination.
In his view, the event of an economic nature will contribute to financial autonomy, if students undertake, calling on schools to encourage and cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit in students, “because schools should not only instruct, they should also educate and prepare students in the various domains of life”.
The official recalled that the macro-economic dynamics, and others, do not allow governments to solve problems of employment and income guarantee for all,
therefore, the state and commercial banks, have carried out several training and credit transfer programs the population, especially the
young people.
