Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the JMPLA in Huambo, José Carlos Tombo, said Saturday, that the organization will continue to reinvigorate the organizational work of the grassroots structures, as they contain the vitality of the “youth arm” of the MPLA.
The official was speaking at the IX plenary and ordinary session of the JMPLA in the province of Huambo, witnessed by the coordinator of the Monitoring Group of the National Secretariat of the youth organization of the MPLA for this region of the Central Plateau, Danila Bragança.
José Carlos Tombo referred that the intention is to give these structures greater dynamism and robustness, to respond to the challenges of the present and the future.
Therefore, he said that the continuous improvement of mobilization strategies is imperative, focusing on the materialization of the commitment assumed before the party, which consist of attacking and defending in a block, thus streamlining all the base structures of the JMPLA.
These are, according to the official, local committees, towns, teaching areas, cities, communal and municipal, with a view to increasing the mobilization capacity and political intervention of the youth organization of the MPLA and, at the same time, of the full compliance with the guidelines of the President of the Party, João Lourenço.
The meeting, which was attended by the head of social organizations associated with the MPLA in Huambo province, Lourenço Mompélua, addressed, among others, matters related to the internal life of the JMPLA and the actions to be carried out in the next four months.
