Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Cuando Cubango, José Martins, asked contractors, this Saturday, in Cuchi, to speed up the execution of PIIM projects, in order to respond to the needs of the local population.

These are seven projects of the Integrated Municipal Intervention Plan (PIIM), in Cuchi, budgeted at 2.3 billion kwanzas.

José Martins, who is also the governor of the province, made the request during the evaluation visit to the projects underway in the district, such as the rehabilitation, expansion and equipping of the Cuchi municipal hospital, the construction of a morgue, schools, among others. social enterprises.

The first secretary of the MPLA also visited the ongoing works of a new hospital and a school with seven classrooms, in Tchinguandja commune.

The infrastructures are expected to improve the quality of life of the population of that locality in the interior of the municipality of Cuchi.

In Tchinguandja commune, José Martins delivered blankets, used clothes and household items to the local population.
