Africa-Press – Angola. The coordinator of the Monitoring Group of the Political Bureau of the MPLA to Cuando Cubango, Maricel Capama, reiterated this Saturday the continuous promotion of actions to combat corruption, impunity, flattery, with a view to promoting the well-being of the population.

Maricel Capama made a test statement at the end of the 3rd ordinary meeting of the Provincial Committee of the MPLA, where he assured that it was necessary to combat nepotism and intensify actions to moralize society, especially in the rescue of civic and moral values ​​among the population, with emphasis on public servants .

The party leader also defended greater rigor, discipline and objectivity in the implementation of projects and programs that the government of Cuando Cubango is carrying out in the nine municipalities, in all domains, through the competent structures.

The coordinator underlined that the population expects the MPLA to solve their basic problems promptly and quickly, such as issues related to roads, food, medical assistance, construction of schools, a work that requires more unity for this intention to be effectively materialized, prevailing party discipline.

Maricel Capama referred that the 3rd meeting made it possible to verify the linkage and evaluation of the participation of the leaders at different levels, in the tasks programmed by the party structures in the fulfillment of the party, as well as to evaluate the degree of implementation of the activity plans of the intermediate bodies of the MPLA .

During the meeting, which was held for the first time outside Menongue, capital of Cuando Cubango, members of the provincial committee approved the work agenda on the presentation of the memorandum on the political, economic and social situation of the municipality of Cuchi.

The report on activities carried out in the first four months of 2023, with amendments and the respective opinion of the Disciplinary, Ethics and Audit Committee and the plan of activities for the second four months of 2023, were also approved.
