Africa-Press – Angola. Two thousand and nine hundred and twenty-two driving licenses and one thousand and fifteen books were issued in the province of Uíge, since November 24, 2022, the date of inauguration of the new premises of the local Provincial Department of Traffic and Road Safety (DTSR).
Speaking to press, this Monday, the director of DTSR in Uíge, chief superintendent Filipe Chimpolo Barros, explained that 4,636 driver processes have been registered since the local opening of the driving license issuing system, awaiting only payment for printing the document.
He referred that the Provincial Department of Traffic and Road Safety has the capacity to issue 45 to 50 driving licenses/day.
As for working materials, he said there are sufficient conditions and materials for issuing and printing a driving license.
For this reason, the official appealed to drivers who still have entries to go to the DTSR services, to register and issue the driving license.
