ANGOTIC 2023: Experts defend the reinvention of organs in the face of technological challenges

Africa-Press – Angola. Communication specialists defend the reinvention of the means of social communication, given the speed imposed by the new information technologies in the dissemination of contents.

The journalist and head of the press office at Empresa Brasil de Comunicação, Ricardo Taffiner, and the Content Manager of Angolan public television, Neto Júnior, spoke Monday, during a lecture on the theme “The impact of new technologies on of communication”, at the 3rd ANGOTIC 2023 forum taking place in Luanda from the 12th to the 14th of June.

For Neto Júnior, TPA opposes the competition of social networks, given the technological evolution, the distinction that the television channel has conquered and also the production of contents that satisfy all types of viewers.

In this context, he informed that public television in Angola is going through a period of requalification, where new studios will be set up to broadcast specific content, citing TV Cultura which is expected to be broadcast by the end of 2023.

The Brazilian Ricardo Taffiner, on the other hand, argues that the creation of partnerships between counterparts in foreign countries and with the public system, has been one of the strategies of the television network he directs.

Angola is one of the countries that is on the agenda of Brazilians for the creation of an agreement, according to the lecturer, since two soap operas of national production shown in Brazil, through the public television network, had a record of great acceptance.

The 3rd edition of ANGOTIC 2023 – International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies of Angola, with the motto “Connectivity and Technological Modernization”, started at the Talatona Convention Center in Luanda.
