With the duration of three days, 12 provinces are confirmed, of which Zaire, Uíge, Luanda, Malanje, Cuanza Norte, Bié and around 200 exhibitors stand out.

The event also provides for lectures where the main theme will be agricultural production and agribusiness.

In addition to the agricultural sector, eight machinery and equipment companies that intervene in the agricultural production chain will participate.

Banking services, industry and mineral resources, social security, general tax administration and health are on the list of participants.

The vice-governor for the Political, Social and Economic sector, José Bartolomeu, coordinator of the event, said that this edition aims to exceed the turnover of the previous event (121 million 177 thousand Kwanzas) and the number of exhibitors (150).

The official confirmed the participation of cooperatives and associations from the six municipalities of the province.

To this end, the trucks recently distributed to transport operators will be responsible for collecting the products to be channeled at the event location.

The Banana Fair is an initiative of the Provincial Government of Bengo which aims to promote the agricultural potential of the province.

The 9th edition of the Banana Fair will take place under the motto, “Agriculture in Angola, Advancing, Creating Solid Bases for the Diversification of the Economy.”
