Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Manuel Homem, said, Sunday (27), after visiting the Angola Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, that the infrastructure represents the persistence that is invested in education, training of man to what he considers a “determining factor for the development of the country”.
The official praised the strength and work of the youth, which has been the priority of the Angolan Executive. For Manuel Homem, young people represent the driving force of any society and their performance at the Expo means that there is their persevering will to represent Angola with dignity.
The minister visited the Angola Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai yesterday, where he was received by the ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Albino Malungo, and the commissioner-general of Angola, Albina Assis Africano, who led the journey guided by the Angolan representation. He praised the architectural structure, which he believes correctly symbolizes the “past, present and future of the country”, while Albina Assis Africano, the commissioner-general, explained that the Pavilion reflects Angola’s claim to assert itself in the context of nations, towards the development.
During the Expo, the entity kept in touch with potential investors for the country, from which effective implementations are aspired. In addition to visiting the exhibition clusters and the temporary art gallery, the minister attended cultural presentations on stage and had lunch with his delegation.
