Cristiano Mangovo, an artist quoted internationally by prestigious art houses, has as his purpose the main issues of the African and universal context, such as environmental protection, women’s rights, or topics such as consumerism, human values, social relations or urbanism.

“The Protagonists” are not fictional characters! They exist! Two out of three young people in Angola face difficulties in entering society. In a country that has recently emerged from civil war, there are countless difficulties in the education sector; access to the labor market.
The lack of integration perpetuates an uninterrupted system, which continually pushes the younger age groups into the informal market, in a country that offers few opportunities, however, it opens up the courageous and self-aware of their fight against poverty.
“The Protagonist” personifies an everyday hero, who struggles daily to find work and guarantee regular remuneration as a way to face hunger and poverty. It symbolically represents the winner, the character that positively defines the end of a theatrical or cinematographic plot. , in this project, the conscience of young people who are exposed to the daily struggle against the temptation of the casual opportunities of crime.
