Africa-Press – Angola. An Evacuation Contingency Plan to ensure proper consular protection for Angolans held in conflict areas in Ukraine is being worked on, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced yesterday.
To this end, it is in close liaison with the diplomatic representations of the Republic of Angola in the Russian Federation, Poland, Serbia and Hungary in order to provide all the necessary support at this difficult time.
According to the communiqué, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs appeals, despite the complexity of the present situation, to all compatriots for better collaboration with the Angolan institutions accredited in these countries and informs that it continues to work in coordination with other Ministerial Departments.
Therefore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its appreciation for the collaboration of the leaders of the Angolan communities in the affected areas and urges them to continue with the massive mobilization of all national citizens to go to the areas indicated by the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Angola.
