The opening of the branch was welcomed by the community, which rushed to the services quickly, with an estimated attendance of over 100 citizens per day. Currently, it handles at least 30 requests daily
João Filipe said that the challenge for the brigade installed in Cuale is to reach areas that are difficult to access, to carry out new registrations or offer citizens the possibility to confirm data.
Carlos Gonga, 19 years old, expressed his satisfaction at having, for the first time, the possibility of obtaining documents that identify him as a national citizen. Cassua Gonga, 70, also like Carlos Gonga, obtained, for the first time, personal documents. “We appreciate this gesture from the Government, in helping to obtain documents, because in Cuale it is difficult to travel to the municipal seat of Malanje”, he stressed.
The communal administrator, Cidalina Xamassango, alerted the population to the importance of the BUAP, both in updating the electoral register and in obtaining documents of personal interest. The service will be extended to the different districts of the commune.
