Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, received, this Saturday, the Minister of Commerce of China, Wang Wentao, a meeting that served to review the relationship of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

On leaving the audience, which took place in the early evening at the Presidential Palace, in the Angolan capital, the Chinese official did not make any statements to the press.

As part of his working visit to Angola, Wang Wentao is taking part on Sunday (13) in the 2nd Meeting of the Guiding Commission for Sino-Angolan Economic and Trade Cooperation.

The governments of Angola and China develop bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, economic, commercial, cultural, educational, consular, police and military fields.

China is the largest export market for Angolan oil, the main source of financing and the largest source of goods imported by Angola.

At the same time, Angola has become the second largest supplier of oil to China in the world and the second largest trading partner of the Asian country on the African continent.
