Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Bié, Pereira Alfredo, reiterated this Saturday, in Cuito, the need to continue supporting the process of economic reforms that the country is experiencing, carried out by the holder of executive power, João Lourenço.
Pereira Alfredo expressed this desire during a rally addressed to MPLA militants assigned to Centralidade Horizonte do Cuito, as part of the program to reaffirm support for the party leader.
He said that the process of reforms never seen before in the country aims to ensure economic, political and social stability, necessary instruments to continue developing the country.
Despite recognizing that there is still a lot to be done, the politician stated that his party, as government, is committed to promoting more employment for youth, promoting health and quality education, offering more water, energy, roads and agriculture.
To this end, he said it is necessary to first preserve the hard-won peace and political stability, so that, in general, all citizens can live well.
After the event, the activists organized a car march that served to reaffirm support for João Lourenço’s leadership in the party and in the country.
