Work "Eagle-eyed Manager" launched in Lobito

Africa-Press – Angola. After Luanda, the writer António Muessapi launched, this Thursday, in the city of Lobito (Benguela), the book entitled “Manager with eagle eyes”.

The book, with 215 pages, portrays the career of the current President of the Board of Directors of Porto do Lobito, Celso Rosas, as a public manager of several institutions and companies.

The Luanda Middle Institute of Economics (IMEL), the former National Aviation Company of Angola (ENANA), Caminho de Ferro de Luanda (CFL) and Unicargas, are some of them.

Regarding the reasons that motivated him to write the book, the author justified it with Celso Rosas’ way of acting, always based on scrupulous compliance with company rules and procedures and the defense of human rights.

“I belonged to the Porto do Lobito Trade Union Committee and saw the way Celso Rosas treats workers, with humanism above all”, he highlighted.

According to the writer, the research to produce the book took around two and a half months.

At the launch ceremony of the work, held in the Casa do Pessoal pavilion of Porto do Lobito, with a full house, the PCA thanked the gesture and encouraged the author to continue making his contribution to the enrichment of the literary market.

To date, a thousand copies have been produced by Editora NFPedro, each unit costing five thousand kwanzas.

This is the first work by António Muessapi, who is already thinking about producing others of different genres, to later join the Union of Angolan Writers.
