Africa-Press – Angola. 1o de Agosto beat Recreativo do Libolo 1-0 this Sunday, in a match on the third round of the first division National Football Championship (Girabola2023/24), played at Estádio dos Coqueiros, in Luanda.
The goal was scored by Obed Mayamba, at 25 of the match. With this result, the “military” formation occupies fifth position, with five points, while the Cuanza Sul team remains blank.
The national runner-up obtained, in this challenge, its first victory, after two draws in the previous rounds.
Also this Sunday, champion Petro de Luanda defeated São Salvador do Kongo do Zaire 4-2, at the Álvaro Buta field.
Wiliete de Benguela suffered a home draw against Sporting de Cabinda, 1-1, at the Ombaka Stadium, while Santa Rita de Cássia do Uíge beat Desportivo da Lunda Sul 1-0, at the 1o de Maio field, in Malanje.
In the opening of the round, Saturday, Sagrada Esperança da Lunda Norte beat União de Malanje 1-0, FC Bravos do Maquis do Moxico and Interclube drew (0-0), the same result seen between Académica do Lobito and Kabuscorp do Palanca.
