Africa-Press – Angola. Interclube athlete, Nzuzi Tandu, qualified on Monday night, in Luanda, for the quarter-finals of the Angola Cup in boxing, by defeating Dadão Mudiakubanza, from Vinde Mim B.

Nzuzi led his opponent to abandon in the second round.

Still on Monday, in the most competitive fight of the day, Morais Orlando, from Interclube, beat Keny Francisco (FAA), 3-0.

The fight, played until the three possible Rounds, was defined by the judges, who certified the dominance of three points in nine minutes of three Rounds each.

Angola Cup in men’s and women’s boxing, 2023 edition, with the participation of 13 teams, an event that aims to celebrate the festivities of National Independence.

The competition started on Sunday, with three fights: In the 51 kg category, Nuno Ribeiro (Interclube) beat Kiala Abuxu (Come to Me), 3-0.

In the most notable fight, Ernesto Gomes (Interclube) beat Manuel Tiago (Inter da Huíla), by unanimous vote, in the 63.5 kg category

In the third most contested fight in the 71 kg category, Elias Muanganga (KB) beat Moisés Pedro (Chicago).

The quarter-finals will be played on Tuesday (14), starting at 2 pm, with 12 matches, one of which will be a women’s match.
