Africa-Press – Angola. A protocol aimed at institutional support for the project for the second edition of the Ngandu literary prize was initialed this week in Caxito, Bengo province, between the provincial Culture office and the organization of the competition.
In this second edition, the aim is to give priority to writers residing in Bengo with new literary works and to promote internal literature.
The submission process for competing works ends on January 15, 2024 and the winner will be announced in April 2024, as part of the festivities in the province of Bengo.
The winner will receive an amount of 500 thousand Kwanzas and will have their work published in a book with 300 copies, informed the competition promoter, Sadrac António.
The first edition of the Ngandu Literary Prize took place in 2021/2022 and was won by Domingos Mignaldo with the work “Coléricus”.
