Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, encouraged, this Friday, in Luena, the province’s youth to contribute to strengthening the consolidation of democratic values ​​and rights, as well as the country’s development.

The leader was speaking during a lecture promoted by JMPLA, as part of the celebrations of November 23rd, the date of founding of this ruling party youth organization, bringing together young academics from various social segments in the province.

On the occasion, he said that young people should focus on work, in order to allow the country’s development, whilst respecting the country’s democratic principles.

“We realize that our youth are attentive to the country’s development, but do not let themselves be carried away by those who do little or nothing for the country”, added Ernesto Muangala, who recommended the need to conserve public assets.

In turn, when speaking about “the role of youth in the construction of a Democratic State and the Law, in the face of political, economic and social adversities”, jurist Tito Cambanji defended the safeguarding and respect of national symbols, mainly the Constitution of the Republic .

According to the speaker, there is a need for every citizen to be an asset, in order to contribute to the growth and development of the country, among others, through the implementation of business, in order to generate wealth and jobs.
