Traffic restrictions for motorists will be limited on the following roads:
Largo da Mutamba, Largo Serpa Pinto, Largo da Maianga, Av. October Revolution, Tunnel do Prenda, Av. Ho Chi Min, Largos das Heroínas, Largo da Independência, Alameda Manuel Van-Dúnem, Largo do Kinaxixi, Rua da Missão, Rua Cirilo da Conceição, Av. 4 de Fevereiro, Largo do Baleizão, Rua Manuel Fernando Caldeira and the streets adjacent to Estádio dos Coqueiros.

In addition to the closure of the aforementioned roads, the statement issued by the Social Communication Office of that institution states that the ban on parking and parking vehicles will start at 7:00 am on the same day (Saturday). “For this reason, residents must arrange for the voluntary removal of their vehicles on the aforementioned roads, under penalty of compulsive removal by the National Police”, the document reads.

For a smooth race, the Provincial Government of Luanda calls for everyone’s understanding and collaboration, asking motorists to respect the signs and instructions of the Traffic Police officers present on the aforementioned streets.
The traditional race was rescheduled for this month, exceptionally, due to the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.
