Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in the province of Huambo, Lotti Nolika, praised Friday, the Executive’s diplomatic stance, marked by cooperation with the United States of America and the persistent search for peace on the African continent.
The supporter made this recognition at the opening of the days commemorating the 67th anniversary of the founding of the MPLA, which takes place on the 10th of this month.
Lotti Nolika highlighted that Thursday’s meeting between the President of Angola, João Loureço, and the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, constitutes a gain for Angolan diplomacy, focused on consolidating permanent dialogue in favor of peace in Africa .
He encouraged the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to continue with diplomatic relations to boost the country’s social and economic development.
“We are very encouraged when the American President considers the African continent to be important, with Angola at the center of attention. Therefore, we encourage the Angolan statesman to continue to reinforce bilateral cooperation between nations”, he emphasized.
Lotti Nolika said that the days commemorating the 67th anniversary of the MPLA will be marked with the holding of political events in the 11 municipalities, to better clarify the political trajectory of the ruling party in Angola.
The MPLA was founded on December 10, 1956.
