Africa-Press – Angola. Seventy-eight million Kwanzas is the amount raised in the first edition of the women’s entrepreneur fair, which ended on Saturday, in Cuito, in the province of Bié.
The information was provided this Sunday, by the director of the Provincial Office for Economic and Integrated Development of Bié, Figueiredo Canguende Numbi.
The event lasted three days and aimed to celebrate World Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, marked on November 19th.
According to Figueiredo Canguende, the action also served to encourage more women to embrace the field of entrepreneurship.
In this first edition, agricultural products, decoration materials, office materials, pastries, fresh produce, clothes and shoes, kitchen utensils, beauty and beauty salons, pharmaceutical products, among others, were on display.
63 companies participated in the exhibition, all owned by women.
