Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Huíla, Nuno Mahapi, urged, in Lubango, the activists to further explore new forms of communication with citizens, in the digital era, in the process of mobilization and search for solutions to social problems.
The politician was speaking at the weekend, during the IV ordinary plenary session of the MPLA Provincial Committee, which marked the opening of the party’s 67th anniversary, to be celebrated on the 10th of the current month, highlighting that the internet, the use effective use of social networks and the promotion of initiatives with a direct impact on society are powerful tools that should be explored further.
“We must use our minds and hearts, encouraging the active participation of all members in the life of the party, in permanent dialogue with the people, listening carefully to their concerns and working tirelessly to offer desirable solutions”, he continued.
The political leader reiterated his party’s commitment to continue working to resolve problems in the health, education and transport sectors, which have impacted the lives of citizens in the province, hence it is the MPLA’s duty to highlight such concerns and seek solutions to improve the living conditions of populations.
He called on members to actively participate in the search for solutions, contributing ideas to materialize the investment that will be made in projects to improve the sectors in question.
The IV Ordinary Plenary Session of the MPLA approved the activity plan for the Day commemorating the party’s 67th anniversary and other documents on its internal life. The party’s 67th anniversary celebrations take place under the motto “MPLA, unity, progress and commitment for Angola”.
