Kabuscorp do Palanca took, this Wednesday (23), an important step towards staying in the National Football Championship of the I Division, Girabola’2021/22, by beating, with immense difficulties, Sporting de Cabinda, by 2- 1, at Estádio dos Coqueiros, in downtown Luanda, in a sequence game of the 19th round.
Gaka opened the scoring for the Palanca team, in the 29th minute, after assistance from Doutor Lami.
Close to the break, Fabricio (44′) extended the lead to Kabuscorp, completing a quick attack.
The goal of honor for the lions of Benguela was scored by Tinho (46′), at the beginning of the second stage, after defensive inattention by Kabuscorp players.
In the first round, the Palanca team defeated the “lions” of Benguela, by 2-1, at the Ombaka National Stadium, for the fourth round of the competition.
For the same match, Bravos do Maquis will host Sagrada Esperança on the 6th of April, at 15:00, at the Johones Kufune Stadium “Mundunduleno”, in the city of Luena.
The round ends on the 30th of April, at 15:00, with the match between Clube Desportivo da Lunda-Sul and Petro de Luanda, at the Estádio Municipal das Mangueiras, in the city of Saurimo.
These matches were rescheduled due to the involvement of Eixo Viário’s diamonds and tricolors in the group stage of the African Champion Clubs’ League in football.
The round recorded the following results: Recreativo do Libolo-Progresso Sambizanga, 1-1, Wiliete Sport Clube-Sporting de Cabinda (1-0), Desportivo da Huíla-Académica do Lobito (2-1), 1º de Agosto-Interclube ( 2-0) and Recreativo da Caála-Cuando Cubango FC (4-0).
