The Association of Economic Journalists of Angola (AJECO) is holding, today, in Luanda, the third edition of the “Banking and Insurance” Forum, under the motto “The importance of agricultural credit and agricultural insurance for the growth of the productive sector”, which plans to bring together around 100 participants, with emphasis on producers from various regions.
According to the president of AJECO, João Joaquim, he told that among the participants, the highlight goes to producer Alfeu Vinevala, from the municipality of Chinguar, in the province of Bié.
During the event, the person responsible pointed out, topics linked to the problem of agricultural credit and agricultural insurance in the country will be addressed at a time when there is a great investment by the executive in the development of the agricultural sector, with emphasis on family farming and agribusiness.
“The choice of the topic has to do with the concerns of producers who complain a lot about the lack of credit as well as the insurance component of their productions. The idea is to hear from insurance companies about the state of readiness for the implementation of this business segment”, he highlighted .
