Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA’s first provincial secretary of Zaire, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho, said this Saturday, in Mbanza Kongo, that his party remains committed to transforming the country with a view to making Angolans’ dreams come true.
Speaking to the press, on the sidelines of the municipal event commemorating the 67th anniversary of the founding of the MPLA, to be celebrated on Sunday, December 10th, the politician considered his party as a political force of hope, which brought peace to the country and works to make the dreams of Angolans come true.
“As the party that governs the country, we will continue to do our best to satisfy the aspirations of citizens”, he asserted, for whom the MPLA speaks, does and shows the fruits of its works in favor of the well-being of Angolans.
The governor of the province of Zaire also said that for the development of the region, all sectors are priorities, from education, health, agriculture, fisheries, industry, tourism, electricity and drinking water, culture and communication routes. .
He highlighted some structural projects underway in the province, with emphasis on the construction of the oil refinery and the fertilizer factory, in the municipality of Soyo, and the road network in some municipalities in the region.
“The population of Zaire must remain calm, because the MPLA and its leader, João Lourenço, will continue to do their best to satisfy their desires”, he highlighted.
The mass political event took place in the multipurpose court of 15 houses, in the 4 de Fevereiro neighborhood, and was marked by performances by local and national musicians.
