Africa-Press – Angola. The Second Secretary of the MPLA in Cuanza Norte, Félix Cutaba, urged this Saturday, in Colinho Alto, party members to reinforce solidarity and internal cohesion, aiming for the continued growth of the organization.
The party leader made this appeal when intervening in the provincial event commemorating the 10th of December, the day of the founding of the MPLA, to be celebrated on Sunday.
The event took place in the municipality of Golungo Alto under the motto “MPLA- 67 years for unity, progress and commitment for Angola”.
Félix Cutaba considered that the motto of these celebrations leads activists to deep reflection in favor of the party’s commitment to the nation’s progress and improvement of citizens’ living conditions.
He highlighted the MPLA’s leading role in the national liberation struggle, achieving peace, national unity and sustainability of the nation, being a party inspired by the conviction of the will of all Angolans.
He called on members to commit to the party’s actions aimed at realizing the country’s aspirations, promoting the culture of peace and healthy coexistence among all Angolans, regardless of party color, religious creed and other social factors.
Félix Cutaba considered holding assemblies to review and renew mandates at the party’s action committee level, along with communal and municipal conferences, scheduled for 2024, as an action that will contribute to revitalizing the organization, updating statistical data and presentation of the real numbers of militants.
The event, marked by several cultural moments, was attended by deputies and party leaders from the province’s 10 municipalities.
