Africa-Press – Angola. The number of citizens with an identity card rose to 12,521,947, and during this period, 4,521,947 citizens were identified for the first time in the current legislature.
These data were presented this Friday in Luanda by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Francisco Queiroz, at the debriefing meeting on the Special Campaign for Survey and Attribution of the Identity Card.
“We are a few days away from the end of the electoral registration and, as we know, the identity card serves as the basis for the registration mentioned above”, said the minister.
According to the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, an increased effort is justified, in the sense of the immediate delivery of tickets already issued but not collected and the issuance of new identity cards.
