Africa-Press – Angola. The governor of Bengo, Maria Antónia Nelumba, in Caxito, considered the legal awareness days a clear sign of commitment to mobilization and moralization that instills in citizens the spirit of respect for the laws and authorities of the State.
By intervening at the opening of the double legal awareness days, on labor law and tax and customs litigation, the minister expressed the Provincial Government’s alignment and support in the initiative that aims to raise the legal awareness of citizens in the province.
He highlighted the importance of legal education or moralization of citizens in preventing illegal acts through a pedagogical approach.
“We have been following with satisfaction the movements carried out in the country by the PGR, disseminating messages that aim to add value to justice operators and citizens, so that society can count on them in the construction of a country that each wants increasingly aligned with the new social milestones of contemporary times”, he highlighted.
For the government official, the fiscal and customs issue is crucial, taking into account the growing and disorderly criminal movement of fuel smugglers at the Bengo borders and other inherent violations.
During the two days of the conferences, lectures will be held on the rights and duties of employers and workers and functional procedures and the actions of related authorities in the tax and customs sphere.
