Africa-Press – Angola. Two hundred and 79 million, 858 thousand 766 Kwanzas were collected, between January and December, by the Delegation of Justice and Human Rights in the province of Huambo, as a result of the 311 thousand 427 acts carried out.
Compared to the same previous period, there was an increase of 100 million, 650 thousand 586 Kwanzas.
The information was provided this Friday by the local delegate for Justice and Human Rights, Alfredo Felo, during the traditional end-of-year greeting ceremony with the institution’s staff.
The person responsible pointed out the notary and civil and criminal identification offices as the services that raised the most revenue for the State coffers, with 89 million, 403 thousand 673 and 77 million, 590 thousand 123 Kwanzas, respectively.
He said that the institution had 45 services, including Civil, Land, Commercial and Automobile Registry offices, Notary Offices, Civil and Criminal Identification offices and communal Birth Registration offices, installed in maternity wards in all municipalities in the province of Huambo.
On the other hand, Alfredo Felo reported that the province of Huambo has 11 municipal Human Rights committees and four communal ones, located in Sambo, Samboto, Mbave (Chicala-Cholohanga) and Chiumbo (Cachiungo).
He mentioned that, within the scope of promoting human rights in Huambo, seven lectures, five seminars, three round tables, two debates and a provincial conference were held, to instill the basic notions of these matters in the population.
He highlighted the registration of 10 incidents linked to protection, six of which were civil cases and four crimes, as well as the monitoring of the act of reintegration of an Angolan citizen who was in the Portuguese Republic.
