Africa-Press – Angola. The Clube Náutico da Ilha de Luanda (CNIL) dominated the National Swimming Championship by categories on Sunday, winning seven of the 12 for beginners and seniors of both sexes, in a short pool, held in Rio Seco with 72 events.

The CNIL led the female class, having won four categories out of the six, namely children with 11,076.00 points, Youth (11,171.0 pts), Juniors (16,838.00 pts) and seniors (1,065.00 pts).

1o de Agosto came second four times, namely in children’s (4,249.00 pts), youth (9,609.00 pts), juniors (14,881.00 pts) and seniors (148.00 pts).

In juniors, Clube Barracudas de Luanda was third (3,372.00 pts), while in seniors, except for CNIL and 1o de Agosto, none of the seven teams scored.

In men, the CNIL won at three levels respectively in Cadets (2,842.00 pts), juniors (11,499.00 pts), juveniles (11,499.00 pts) and juniors (22,525.00pts), in addition to the third obtained in seniors (5,487.00pts).

1o de Agosto was champion in the classes for beginners (215.00 pts), children (2,920.00 pts) and seniors (13,989.00 pts).

The military team finished in second place, in youth (9,329.00 pts) and juniors (15,781.00 pts).

Onda Sport Clube took second place for beginners (57.00 pts), seniors (10,710.00 pts) and third place for youth (1,955.00 pts) and juniors (3,562.00 pts).

Racing Vial Swim (RVS) is another team that appeared on the men’s podium, with second place in the cadets (1,593.00pts).

The individual athlete was second in children’s (1388.00 pts), while Clube Naval was third in this class (548.00 pts).

Nine clubs participated in the national competition by categories, a competition in the also known Nádia Cruz pool.
