The Minister of the Interior, Eu-génio César Laborinho, announced, in Cuito, that the National Police will intensify its presence in all municipalities in the province of Bié, aiming at improving public security and tranquility, thus offering the necessary comfort. to populations.
The official announced “the good news” during a meeting with the staff, specifying that the permanent surveillance in the police units spread across the nine municipalities of the province of Bié, is imposed as an urgent need, in order to avoid acts of vandalism and subversion to the public order.
Eugénio César Laborinho referred that the infrastructures, similar to the Camacupa Command, which cost the public coffers 290 million Kwanzas, within the scope of the PIIM, will be built in other municipalities.
“We are a body whose mission is to ensure peace and tranquility in the communities. Therefore, the Executive is creating all the conditions for our forces to be better structured and able to intervene in situations of restoration of order, in any part of the national territory”, he said.
The Minister of the Interior carried out an extensive work program in the province of Bié, where, in addition to inaugurating the new Municipal Command of the National Police in Camacupa, he met with the magistrates of the Public Ministry, in the city of Cuito, and met with them. with ecclesiastical entities and with members of the Traditional Authorities of the nine municipalities of the province.
