Africa-Press – Angola. As part of periodic visits that aim to continue increasing levels of permanent consultation with Provincial Governments on projects under central subordination, the Minister of Public Works, Urban Planning and Housing, Carlos Alberto dos Santos, visited the province of Huambo, accompanied by officials sector and promised to boost infrastructure recovery work.
Among the places visited are the municipality of Longonjo. In this area, Carlos dos Santos went to see the level of degradation of an old hydraulic bridge over the Luluvila River, responsible for connecting the only two communes in the municipality, which have strong agricultural potential.
The minister also made an observation visit to investigate the ongoing work on some ravine containment and stabilization projects, namely the one located next to the 200 housing units, in the municipality of Longonjo and the one in the Chiva sector (Cuca ravine).
At the end of the visit, Friday, Carlos dos Santos held a meeting with the contractors, leaving guidelines for the promotion of some ongoing works, as well as the start of others.
