Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, swore in this Thursday, in Luanda, Virgílio Domingos da Silva Júlio and Maria Teresa Adelaide Bento Lourenço, respectively, in the positions of director and deputy director of the Ceremonial of the President of the Republic.
At the ceremony, those inducted swore loyalty to the country, cooperation in achieving the highest purposes of the State and defense of the order established by the Constitution.
They also intend to respect and ensure respect for the Law and carry out with zeal and dedication the functions for which they were appointed.
They promised to combat corruption, nepotism and acts that harm the public interest, under penalty of being held civilly and criminally responsible.
João Lourenço urged those inaugurated to have a high sense of discipline and responsibility, in order to dignify the institution of the Presidency of the Republic.
