Africa-Press – Angola. The Cambambe Registration Store, Cuanza Norte province, collected 15 million 701 thousand and 435 kwanzas for the State coffers in 2023, representing a decrease of 404 thousand and 457 kwanzas compared to the previous year.
According to the administrator of this tax office, Acácio Mateus, in 2022, 16 million six thousand and 892 kwanzas were collected.
He justified that the reduction in revenue was due to the failure to provide mass services in the communities and the lack of awareness campaigns, due to the lack of employees and means of transport.
He made it known that the amounts collected correspond to the collection of fees and fees, in identification, conservatory, registration and notary services.
Acácio Mateus considered that the increase in the legal culture of citizens has contributed to the increase in productivity levels in the institution, which has 15 employees in the three branches of activity.
