Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA of Luanda, Manuel Homem, committed Thursday, to continue work at the grassroots, in order to make them more active and comply with the party’s guidelines
Speaking at the New Year’s greeting presentation ceremony, held at the premises of the party’s provincial committee, the politician highlighted that 2024 will serve to develop work at grassroots and community level in the country.
“We are an organization and, therefore, individual work counts for little. We will be capable if we are all there, because we are all part of the MPLA”, he said.
The first secretary of Luanda highlighted that the time is for renewing forces, to materialize the party’s objectives, in order to guarantee the stability of party political work.
Manuel Homem reminded the activists that the MPLA was forged in a context of struggle, friendship and sacrifices of its members.
Therefore, he called for more unity and engagement from party members and activists.
At the event, officials from the provincial committee encouraged the first secretary to continue ongoing dialogue with the bases, planning, organization and discipline in carrying out tasks.
