The preservation of effective peace and the harmonization of families are elements that aim to honor and dignify the heroes of the 4th of February, who fought for the national liberation struggle, revealed this Saturday, in Cacolo (Lunda-Sul), the municipal administrator acting location, João Quinzol.
The official who spoke during a lecture, part of the day celebrating the 63rd anniversary of the Day of the Armed Struggle for National Liberation, stated that the current motivation is linked to everyone’s engagement in improving the living conditions of Angolan families.
Likewise, he emphasized, active participation in the process of consolidating the Democratic State and the Rule of Law.
The official also highlighted the need for families to commit themselves to monitoring the public goods made available to them, so that they can serve future generations.
During the celebrations of the date, there are activities such as cleaning campaigns, laying of wreaths at the tomb of the unknown soldier, lectures in schools of the I and II cycle of secondary education, beautification and meetings with Former Combatants.
The celebrations of the 63rd anniversary of the Day of the Armed Struggle for National Liberation take place under the motto “Preserving the Values of the Fatherland, Let us Honor our Heroes”.
The event was attended by members of the municipal administration, state defense and security bodies, leaders of political parties, traditional and religious authorities, as well as students.
The municipality of Cacolo is 141 kilometers from the capital of Saurimo and has an estimated population of 42 thousand 196 inhabitants, distributed in the municipalities of Alto Chicapa, Cucumbi and the capital.
