Africa-Press – Angola. The new provincial delegate for Justice and Human Rights, João de Assunção, defended , in this city, the combination of efforts of related bodies, with a view to better administration of judicial action in the province.
The official who made this statement during the reception of portfolios, from the acting provincial delegate for Justice and Human Rights, Elisa Manuel, said it was everyone’s task to work towards improving justice services and human rights in the province.
He made it known that progress, the improvement of citizens’ image and perception of the sector’s services, depend to a large extent on the collaboration and active intervention of all judicial actors.
He pointed out birth registration, issuing Identity Cards and celebrating marriages, as tasks to be taken into account, without neglecting the others, with a view to granting identification and legitimacy to citizens.
“For this reason, we must be united, work with humility, humanism, dedication and team spirit, with everyone focused on the same objectives and placing collective and institutional interests above personal ones”, he stressed.
However, the presiding judge of the Provincial Court, Neves Moxe, reiterated the need to strengthen the judicial relationship, in favor of more humanized and fair service to citizens.
He expressed the Court’s willingness to continue collaborating with the Justice Delegation in all actions called upon to intervene.
The act was witnessed by magistrates, sector officials and representatives of local justice administration bodies.
João de Assunção succeeds Vitorino Domingos, recently retired.
