PN staff urged to work with professionalism

Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial commander of the National Police, in Lunda-Sul, Mateus André, appealed Friday, in Saurimo, to the corporation’s staff to work with zeal, dedication and professionalism, with the aim of safeguarding public assets and citizens.

The Interior Ministry delegate also reinforced the need for staff to refrain from unseemly conduct that tarnishes the good name of the corporation.

After graduation, Mateus André visited at length the most varied compartments of the Saurimo municipal delegation of the National Police and found out about the working conditions of the staff.

With the same objective, the PN commissioning officer also visited the municipality of Muconda, where he interacted with the forces on parade, assessed and verified “in situ” their state of organization, functioning, readiness and disposition, within the scope of the program of help and control.

During the radiography that extended to the bodies of the Civil Protection and Fire Service (SPCB), Foreign Migration Services (SME) and the Muriege communal police station, from where he received information about the reduced number of police officers, he expressed his willingness to develop actions aiming to improve the working conditions of operatives.

In the coming days, the delegate from the Ministry of the Interior has also planned, in his work program, visits to the National Police facilities in the municipalities, meetings with the motorcycle taxi drivers’ association and various entities.
