Africa-Press – Angola. The president of CASA-CE this Saturday (2), in Luanda, invited the National Electoral Commission (CNE) to adopt a dialogue mechanism with political forces and actors in society, to guarantee the stability and security of the electoral process.
“The CNE, at the moment, behaves very badly for adopting an anti-dialogue mechanism”, said Manuel Fernandes, during the mass political act, held in Campo das Mangueirinhas, in the district of Hoji-ya-Henda, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Coalition, which is celebrated today (3 April).
He recalled that the CNE has the “great responsibility” of conducting an electoral process that guarantees the stability of the country, stressing, therefore, that the institution must choose dialogue with all political forces as a flag.
The politician complained about emissaries who arrive in the country with the objective of offering subsidies to the CNE on the best way in which the electoral process should be conducted, but “the president of the institution simply demarcates himself from them”.
In another aspect, Manuel Fernandes considered the gesture of the President of the Republic to be “positive”, who received, in separate audiences, on Friday, in Cidade Alta, the leaders of UNITA and the FNLA.
“That’s how it should be. The gesture of the President of the Republic guarantees stability and national reconciliation”, he said, later appealing to activists to update the data at the Single Public Service Desks (BUAP).
“Each one of you must be an activist for change. Therefore, the first exercise, in addition to mobilizing for the vote, must be to register with the BUAP”, warned the politician, promising changes in the next elections capable of providing more jobs, wages fairness, education and quality health services.
According to Manuel Fernandes, CASA-CE will only idealize the government program after listening to citizens about what they think and what the future Angola should be.
