Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in the province of Namibe, Archer Mangueira, defended this Saturday, in the municipality of Camucuio, the strengthening of the party’s base structures, to overcome the challenges of the future.

Archer Mangueira, who was speaking at the launch of the MPLA 2024 Political Agenda, said it was necessary to strengthen the party’s structures in order to create a more solid database of its members.

This strengthening, according to the provincial secretary, must begin with collecting data from the Action Committees, finding out if they exist, where they are and what they do, in order to create a new work dynamic, starting from the principle of training their employees. squads and militants

“It is necessary for the MPLA to adapt to the new times with its insertion in society, listening to the various youth organizations, traditional civil societies and other fringes, listening to their problems and together finding possible solutions”, he said.

Cuanza-Sul

The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Cuanza Sul, Job Capapinha, urged his party’s activists to study and publicize the 2024 political agenda, which comprises 11 axes and eight initiatives, drawn up under the motto “MPLA to serve the people and make Angola a to grow”.

He said that the aforementioned agenda was disseminated for the knowledge and control of the population in Cuanza-Sul, especially to the thousands of activists who have the obligation to execute it in each of the 12 municipalities and 36 communes and essentially in grassroots organizations.

MPLA 2024 Political Agenda highlights national unity and cohesion, the execution of public policies aimed at strengthening national production, with emphasis on support for family farming, staff training, among others.

Job Capapinha highlighted that the MPLA must always keep this political agenda in mind and in particular the speech by the President, João Lourenço, at the launch of the Political Agenda 2024 in Luanda, on February 3rd.

Zaire

On the other hand, the first secretary of Zaire, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho, asked Mbanza Kongo for selfless work, in favor of resolving the social problems that still affect the lives of the local population.

At the opening ceremony of the IV ordinary session of the committee, he called for the best ways to achieve this goal to be discussed at this meeting.

On the political side, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho recommended the reinforcement of actions aimed at increasingly revitalizing the basic structures of this party formation, aiming at future political challenges.

“We need to work for the victory of the MPLA in the next general elections of 2027, but we must start doing our homework now, so that when the moment approaches we can reverse the results of the previous electoral election, in the province”, he emphasized.

The party in power in Angola held a meeting with activists this Saturday to present the political agenda for 2024.
