Africa-Press – Angola. Residents of the Margoso neighborhood, in the Maianga Urban District, in Luanda, have had a daily door-to-door police monitoring since last week.
The local head of the Proximity Sector of the National Police, Irina Galiano, told that the daily police monitoring, door-to-door, aims to collect information to improve the safety of citizens, as well as other concerns that are directly or indirectly related to public order.
The officers of the National Police from the police station in the Military district, in Maianga, stressed the head of the Proximity Sector, are prepared to maintain daily contact with the residents, with a view to collecting and sharing information of interest to the community.
On the first day of door-to-door police monitoring, said Irina Galiano, residents were satisfied with the National Police’s initiative and promised to provide all information related to the security of the Margoso neighborhood and beyond.
