PRS prioritizes recruitment of new members in Lunda-Sul

Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of the Social Renewal Party (PRS) in Lunda-Sul, Eugénio Sacupumbo, stated this Friday, in Saurimo, that the organization in the province will prioritize the recruitment of new members with a view to strengthening political training.

Re-elected, during the mandate renewal conference, the politician added that, among other actions, he will strive for unity within the party, rehabilitate and build headquarters in municipalities, combat slander and defamation and contribute to achieving the objectives advocated by the leader from the PRS.

He reiterated that in this way he will bring activists and members of the organization together and together envision the path to the challenges that lie ahead.

On the other hand, asked about the political and administrative division that the country will experience in the near future, Eugénio Sacupumbo praised the Executive’s initiative, because some regions are huge and make governance and implementation of social projects difficult.

He explained that for the project to be successful, there is an urgent need to start building basic infrastructure, extending the electricity and water network, so that future rulers can continue and work with dignity.

Alongside this, the need to implement local authorities has advanced, so that some areas of the country can develop quickly and return power to the citizen, to contribute with ideas that aim to improve their area of jurisdiction.

130 delegates participated in the mandate renewal conference, from the four municipalities of Lunda-Sul, where 29 members were elected to the national committee and 60 others to the V ordinary Congress.
