Africa-Press – Angola. Nine hundred and 57 ex-soldiers and their respective families were reintegrated into agricultural activities, in recent years, in the province of Cabinda, an action within the framework of the Program to Combat Hunger and Poverty.
This fact was expressed, this Friday, in Cabinda, by the Secretary of State for Social Action, Lúcio de Amaral, during the formal closing of the process of reintegration of ex-soldiers in this district.
On the occasion, the leader assured that a total of 12 tractors were allocated, equipped with plows, professional kits related to the areas of electricity, locksmithing, carpentry and mechanics.
He mentioned that these actions aim to increase the productive capacity of those assisted, in order to guarantee the sustainability of their families.
In turn, the deputy governor of Cabinda for the Political and Social sector, Miguel de Oliveira, defended the need to continue investing in the technical-professional training of ex-military personnel, with a view to facilitating their integration into society.
During the meeting, 38 ex-soldiers, widows, orphans and other beneficiaries also benefited from professional kits to develop agricultural activities in the areas of agriculture, electricity, metalwork, carpentry and mechanics.
