Africa-Press – Angola. Hundreds of citizens were assisted, this Saturday, in the province of Huambo, during a public consultation, promoted by the Attorney General’s Office, as part of Legality Week.
Speaking at the end of the activity, deputy attorney general of the Republic of the province of Huambo, Deodato Paim Inácio, informed that the consultation took place under the heading “Talk to attorney”, included in the activities of the 45th anniversary of the institutionalization of this body, which is highlighted.
He reported that during the consultations, citizens received assistance from magistrates from the Public Ministry in the areas of family, civil, labor and crimes, whose cases received advice and referral for due resolution.
He pointed out the lack of food provision, birth registration, disciplinary proceedings and illegal dismissals, among others, as the main cases presented by the citizens of Huambo.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office appealed to the population for legal culture and not to hesitate in seeking out the PGR, as an inspector of legality, to resolve their concerns.
Legality Week is held every year as part of the celebrations of the institutionalization of the Attorney General’s Office in Angola, on April 27, 1975.
Opened on the 21st of this month, awareness campaigns, lectures, visits to works and public institutions, sporting activities, among others, were carried out in the province of Huambo.
