Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Bié, Pereira Alfredo, reaffirmed this Tuesday, in the city of Cuito, that his party will continue to be an instrument at the service of citizens, focused on solving community problems.
The politician made these statements to the press, when speaking at the opening of the training seminar for leaders and staff of the Party Action Committees (CAP).
Accordingly, Pereira Alfredo defended the need for grassroots activists and other MPLA leaders to anticipate and analyze the problems that afflict citizens within communities.
He said that his party’s fundamental tasks, as a government, are to work more for the population, making more schools, hospitals, energy and water, roads and other assets available to communities.
“The MPLA activist must take the lead in addressing the needs of the communities, so that they can be resolved in a timely manner, because we are the only force capable of continuing to resolve these problems”, he appealed.
However, he called for rigor in this process of preparing the assemblies, which will be able to elect the future leaders and staff of the action committees, taking into account their mobilization and organization capacity.
Under the motto “MPLA energize party structures to improve integration into society”, the event, is analyzing, among various aspects, the action program on the movement to revitalize its structures.
