Africa-Press – Angola. Angola and Kenya assessed, this Thursday, in Copenhagen, Denmark, the level of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, economic and commercial domains.

The incident occurred at a working meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola, Téte António, and the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kenyan Diaspora, Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Nordic countries and Africans.

For approximately half an hour, the two entities also focused on the implementation of the Luanda and Nairobi processes, led by the two countries, two important instruments for achieving peace in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The occasion was used for Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi to recognize the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, for his role as Champion of Peace and Reconciliation of the African Union, encouraging him to continue his efforts towards the pacification of the African continent.

Angola and Kenya have a long history of common ties, dating back to before the National Independence of the two countries, and excellent political relations.
