Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the Solidarity Support Movement of Angola (MOVANGOLA), António Sawanga, reiterated today, in Malanje, the organization’s commitment to supporting the government in assisting people in vulnerable situations, with a view to improving their standard of living.
The association leader reiterated this commitment during the inauguration of the headquarters of the MOVANGOLA Provincial Secretariat, having highlighted that, as a partner of the State, the movement will continue to develop initiatives aimed at combating hunger and poverty, within the scope of the “Angola, Minha Earth, My Homeland and My Country, recently launched in Luanda.
For the project to be successful, he called for the involvement of different segments of society, with emphasis on religious leaders, traditional authorities and businesspeople.
The inauguration, witnessed by the vice-governor of Malanje for the Technical and Infrastructure sector, Duarte Ginga, culminated with the delivery of two three-wheeled motorbikes to a traditional authority and a religious leader.
António Sawanga is carrying out a three-day work schedule in the province of Malanje, where he will deliver goods to people in need in Cambundi-catembo and visit religious institutions in the main municipality.
MOVANGOLA already has offices opened in Luanda, Portugal and Malanje.
