He said that “we live in an increasingly troubled world”, with old conflicts that cannot be resolved and new ones that are emerging, across all regions of our planet.
Another noteworthy aspect was related to the fact that President João Lourenço also expressed an interest in seeing manufacturing units for South Korean brands installed in Angola as a way of consolidating the economic partnership between the two countries.
At the first Business Forum between the two countries, which brought together public and private agents, he said that “we are very interested in seeing heavy machinery, automobile and electronics manufacturing units installed in our country, as part of the solid and lasting partnership that we want to build between our economies and our people”.
In another area, the political division of press highlighted the statements made by the Chinese ambassador to Angola, Zhang Bin, who said that the volume of trade between the two nations reached, in 2023, twenty-three (23) billion US dollars. American.
The diplomat, who was speaking to the press at the end of the meeting with the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, pointed out that Chinese investment reached these figures as a result of existing commercial relations and exchanges.

Regarding the matter, the president of the Angolan Bar Association (OAA), José Luís Domingos, stated that, despite the merit of the creation of the guarantees judge, this has not yet addressed the weaknesses of the procedural system.
