ANDA was the winner of the competition that brought together 50 unicorns (startups worth more than one billion) at the event in which 175 countries and more than 12 thousand participants were involved, according to a press release from the National Institute for Support to Micro and Small and Medium Companies (INAPEM).
With this achievement, ANDA won a ticket to participate in the event called “Demonstration Day” (Xmatch Demo Day), scheduled for November 24th this year, in Cairo, Egypt.
According to the document, this appointment is the result of work that INAPEM and its partners have developed in favor of promoting the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Angola, capitalizing on all initiatives that contribute to the growth and expansion of similar projects in the country.
Last April, 20 Angolan Startups participated in a competition (pitch) via zoom, in Luanda, which aimed to evaluate the best project with the potential to scale the Abu Dhabi Annual Global Investment Congress.
The achievement of ANDA, which had the institutional and material support of INAPEM and Acelera Angola, increasingly requires the company to follow an extensive path of regional self-affirmation of the Angolan ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The startup ANDA is one of the emerging projects in the Angolan ecosystem, created to transform urban mobility in Angola, through licensed motorcycle taxi transport, whose service stands out for the application of an innovative technological model.
