The vice-president of the MPLA, Luísa Damião, considered, yesterday, in Luanda, that in the current context, the party’s trainers and lecturers must continue to exercise their role with greater accuracy, in order to contribute to increasing the performance of political action and partisan.
Luísa Damião made this statement during the opening of the presentation meeting of her party’s national network of trainers and lecturers, which took place at Complexo do Futungo II, where the history and ideology of the MPLA, methods and technique of political training were discussed, as well as the regulation of the MPLA trainers and lecturers network.
The vice-president of the MPLA made it known that following the guidelines of the party leader, João Lourenço, on the matter, expressed in the Political Agenda of that political force for 2024, the meeting is part of a set of actions that have been carried out by the structures to all levels, aiming to materialize the approved instruments to achieve the objectives for the present and future.
“This is an extremely important meeting in the field of internal consultation, political feedback, tactical and operational alignment, above all, in relation to increasing political and technical literacy, respecting different national themes, promoting official discourse and in political confrontation, given the challenges that the current context imposes on the MPLA”, he said.
Luísa Damião said that trainers and lecturers are true builders of convictions, who allow the defense and dissemination of positions defined by the party’s central leadership, ensuring permanent dialogue with different political and social sensitivities.
On the other hand, the MPLA vice-president highlighted that the network of trainers and lecturers fulfills a pedagogical and strategic function, inherent to the favorable conditioning of social opinion and, above all, reinforcing the party structures’ capacity for political intervention.
The party leader added that learning content, methodologies, guidelines and instruments for activists, cadres and leaders is important, taking into account political and electoral challenges.
Encouragement
Luísa Damião encouraged the MPLA Staff Department to take advantage of the intelligence it has, within the network of trainers and lecturers, enhancing knowledge in content transmission methodologies.
“We need to take advantage of the cadres that have been trained, inside and outside the country, so that there is an internal architecture of circulation, sharing and socialization of knowledge, which is fundamental and indispensable for our work of organization and political mobilization, which permeates our constant adaptation to political, social and economic transformations, within the framework of political competition”, he emphasized.
Vice-president Luísa Damião said that the Staff Department is working to ensure the continuous circulation and appropriation of knowledge at party level, so that it is always up to the challenges posed, with a view to achieving its objectives.
The vice-president of the MPLA believes that it is essential that meetings of this kind continue to be held, as the accelerated process of transformations that are being observed in the political and social scenario, nationally and internationally, further solidifies the certainty that should “neglect to do your homework well in advance”, as instructed by the party president, João Lourenço, when launching the Political Agenda for this year.
The vice-president of the “Comrades” party announced that the process of reviewing and renewing mandates in the party’s base structures is underway, which, in the meantime, continues to give full support to JMPLA, which, this year, holds the IX Ordinary Congress.
Luísa Damião maintained that the MPLA is a party whose path of struggles and victories enables it to be used to great challenges and to win in moments of great adversity, overcome the competition and cement the bond of unity in the hearts of Angolans.
National network of adjusters
For the secretary of the Political Bureau of the MPLA Central Committee for Staff Policy, Ângela Bragança, the national network of trainers and lecturers is a diverse team to act in an important area of the party, aiming to train and train staff, whose mission is not limited to summarizes only in the transmission of knowledge, but also the sense of duty, responsibility, sharing of teams of the cadres who work on the party’s various tasks.
Ângela Bragança said that the network will have coordination whose mission is to give life to this mechanism, in the organization and functioning of the party.
Participating in the meeting were the secretary of the Political Bureau for Former Combatants and Veterans of the Nation, members of the Secretariat of the Political Bureau, the Central Committee, directors and heads of Divisions of the Central Committee, members of the Exchange of Trainers and Lecturers, staff and directors of the MPLA., among others.
